Hi guys , how have you been all. This has been a crazy fortnight for me and that will explain why I was MIA past couple of weeks. It was crazy busy at work and on top of that I am busy planning my 1 month upcoming vacation to India and Japan (yay, can't wait). I will be traveling with my 16 month old little monster, and this being his first real international flying trip so I am bundle of nerves right now.
On top of that festive season is also catching up so I am embracing myself for long and tiring but still blissful couple of months. Being an Indian in US our festivities start with with Diwali and take a very long journey of harvest festival, thanksgiving, Christmas and then New year (talk about world getting cosmopolitan)
So lots or prep work and shopping is going on off course that has driven me blissfully tired, anyways coming back to the blog.
So everyone's favorite season is here and everyone is busy preparing for winters and yet dragging little bit of sunshine and happiness inside them and that to me means still clinging to my dresses.I am totally digging the slip dress, billowy ruffles and florals this fall. But one this that has left me ecstatic is floral trend in dresses.
Albert Camus once said that the ' Fall is second spring when every leaf is a flower' and fall trend this year are agreeing with him.
One trend that came out of the New York Fashion week this year (And I totally endorse it) and is soon finding its way to the street to is 'Fall Floral'. Floral trend is just not for summer, You can always use florals on deep colors to brighten your dull fall day, And that has been my style mantra this fall. I love and prints and I am always on lookout for a good floral dress and I am never shy about adding a floral dress in my wardrobe.
This gorgeous Asos dress comes in all sizes, petite, tall and large sizes included. Its in solids and stripes too if floral is not your thing. If you are getting bored of wearing normal fit and flare, Shift, shirt dresses etc then try this. This dress has a gorgeous skirt and little kimono style top. The top runs little small and if your waist is slender read the size chart carefully before ordering as waist is snug fit.
This dress will transition well to winter days too with a light colored sweater inside and boots on.
I rocked this dress to the date night , this one definitely is little dressier and I am not taking this to office but it will go nicely to day as well as night outings.
I completed my look with my brand new Philip Lim Pashli bag, that I gifted to myself for being so frugal last minute :D, and re-used my Nordstorm Fuchsia pumps.
I hope you find some inspiration checking out this look. Check out the outfit details directly below.
